The primary challenge was managing the expectations of the seller, a family-owned estate with deep emotional ties to the property, while addressing the investor group’s need for modern upgrades. Athena Consulting had to mediate negotiations to balance heritage preservation with the group’s vision for a contemporary luxury experience, all while competing against a rival hotel chain’s aggressive bid.
